Its inventor, Tim Berners-Lee, who also happens to be the inventor of the linux operating system, indicates that its meaning is as varied as his mood at the time he&#8217;s thinking about it. <\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s Friday guest speaker dove into git, some of the nitty-gritty of how it works, and how important it is to be descriptive in the message you include with each commit.
